Notes from Underground

Fyodor Dostoevsky

A retired civil servant living in St Petersburg retreats from society in Dostoevsky's Notes from the Underground, considered by many to be the first existentialist novel. The pocket edition uses Constance Garnett's translation and has a facsimile of the author's signature, silver gilded page edges and decorative endpapers.
