Lots of Dots

Yayoi Kusama

Introduce the littlest learners to color, patterns, and numbers with this interactive pumpkin-shaped board book by legendary artist Yayoi Kusama

Join artist Yayoi Kusama on a journey into her playful world of dots! Shaped like Kusama’s beloved pumpkin sculptures, Lots of Dots introduces babies and toddlers to early learning concepts through rhythmic, read-aloud text and bold visual design. As children turn the pages, they follow a cheerful journey through Kusama’s famous dots – one dot, two dots, big dots, small dots – discovering changes in size, number, and color along the way.

This vibrant, brilliantly designed board book features bright colors, high-contrast illustrations, sparkles, shiny foil polka dots, and clever die-cuts, creating a tactile, sensory reading experience for little hands and growing minds. The book concludes with a short, child-friendly introduction to Kusama’s work, encouraging curiosity about artists and creative expression.

Eye-catching, educational, and a joy to read, Lots of Dots is an exuberant introduction to early concepts and the world of art.
